Light switch

Noticed that my light switch is not illuminating correctly this morning. Is this easy to fix yourself and if so anyone know how? :1zhelp:

As in the switch you turn? If so, remove the 5 hex screws which hold the panel on below the steering wheel (prising it from below the aluminium trim takes a bit of wiggling). Pull the block connector off the switch and the push the switch out by depressing the clips which hold it in. Fit new light switch...

Or just push in the rotary switch and turn toward the sidelight position then pull out the switch. You dont need the panel under the dash removing.

Ok, that's a bit simpler! Not sure if you can replace the bulb. I think the part's not very expensive...

Had the unit out out and it looks like the yellow LED has gone so I guess that will be a new unit and not just an LED? I have booked the car in at Audi to fix it under warranty but surely they could pay for the part and I can fit it?
