Every time I turn sharply left & right, I can hear what sounds like a coin rolling in the direction of the turn. I thought it was located behind the glove compartment. I was able to remove the glove box a good bit to see if I could see anything, but nothing. I now think it is in behind the passenger airbag, within the air vent tube.
I assume it's a washer and not a coin, as I don't think anyone would have dropped a coin into the small round air-vent on the top of the dash, pointing towards the side windows.
What way could I access the air vent tube to have a look? or any other ideas.

Take the air vent out, or the dash

behind the glove box there is the fan for the vents, its a bit of a swine to get out but it should give you some access to the space behind the airbag, a mirror and torch should help you see a bit better.
