Hello all, just joined the forum as I have just got a 55 plate A4 3.2 S-line Quattro Manual box. Superb car and especially love the exhaust tone :D I have owned audi's in the past going back as far as 1986!! which was an Audi 80 CD lol. Never had problems with any of them so hoping this will be the same fingers crossed.
If anyone has any interesting info or tips on this particular model I would love too hear from you.

Nice car - I seriously considered a 3.2 before buying mine but couldn't find one with the right spec. Also the possibility (at that time) of paying £400+/year in roadtax turned me on to a 2.0T. I do miss the soundtrack of a 5/6 cylinder engine though.
Was your 80CD the 1.9carb or 2.0 fi 5 cylinder? (used to own a coupe GT myself - loved that engine)

Hi, must admit the road tax thing did put me off at first but I have come out of a Lexus GS430 into the A4 so what ever happens it must be slightly cheaper to run?? (he says hopefully) my 80 CD was a carb I think and I agree the old 5 cylinder engines sounded great, I had an 80 Quattro years ago with the two exhausts etc and the diff lock knob in front of the gear stick, they where the days lol
