water leak from top of passenger door(wing mirror)

ive noticed today that there is water comming in from the top of the passengers door.its running down the side of the dash and into the footwell.The MMC case is a lttle damp and so is the floot but ive dried it out as best i can.

ive narrowd it down to just above the wing mirror.there doesnt seem to be a rubber seal there just some felt like material.

whats the best way to go about fixing this problem before it gets too bad?
