Heater issues

my dual climate control has stopped it still works but does have like a fan or blower to to push the hot air threw so it doesnt demist or warm me up on these cold days. i live in cumbria so i was wondering if any of the little floods iv been threw could have damaged it nothing else has stopped just that?? anyclues?

Hi mate,

New to the forums, and have the same problem near enough.
It might well be the water, as last week I went through a puddle
about a foot deep and my blower has stopped working on my Golf.

First off there was a bad smell, then they just stopped working.
Hoping to get a look tomorrow, weather permiting.

Will let you know how I get on.

Hi again,
Found the problem, water had got into the motor resistor and fried the connectors, so a good clean of the connectors and a new spade connector for the one, has solved the problem.
