allright I just remove the battery and battery tray because I did see a standing water, just under battery tray there is a hole whitch I do think is to drain water, because my car is standing on angle to the left all water gose where Break fluid tank is ect, is there any hole there to drain water there and maybe is blocked because my earth wire is wet maybe this is the problem  I'm not electrician so not sure if wet earth wire can be problem on losing power from battery. Also I did found a hole to check if has water, when you remove the plug " plastick bolt with some sort of plastic going down" there is water just on top of silver vains but the plastic bit from the plug is all dark brown "black"

tested the battery using multimeter reading 12.83v disconected positive wire just to see if the battery losing power and now the reading is 12.61 after 1 h if I time this buy 8 H will lose 1.78v whitch is about 11v not enough to start the car up so it looks like I need new battery

12.6v after a fresh charge is too low. The battery has had it.

ok the battery has been for a test at ATS and PARTSCO
result
valt 12.43
copacity to charge 39%
battery unserviceable
both test at very close reading
so I went to halfords got my self one of the charges for £26.99 after talking to electrician and he said that the alternator will not charge the battery to full,if you charge the battery to full and start the car first leave it for about 1h with the positive clamp off and you can start the car the battery should be fine if you can't start the car the battery is f....... and the problem that he did see with the test was that the battery was not fully charged so the test could give falls reading, not sure if someone can understand this beacuse I can't so I will have to leave till morning and see:zx11: another day off work:zx11:
another problem he did say to my why did happend was the battery just old or the car has a fault with the power and I can't tell realy different with out new battery or at least with my fully working
will replay in morning

Start car and put your voltmeter accros the terminals It should read about 14.4v. It needs to be at least 14V. If it is 14v your alternator is ok. You can't test a battery with a multimeter. The test you had done which said 39% tells you battery has had it. Once battery reaches this state it will never hold a charge no matter how you charge it.

Sometimes, the connections break inside due to metal fatigue.
I went out one day and stopped off at a shop a mile away from home, and when I got back outside to the car my battery was totally dead. It was New Years Day too, so it took nearly all day to sort out.
