Hi all, i need a new speedo in my car and i have found this on ebay and was wondering how do i check if it will work in my car? my car is a 1999 A3 1.8t

What is your cluster not doing? Maybe you don't need a whole new cluster?

the speedo isn't working, i have had it out and sent it off to be fixed but they couldn't fix it and said that i need another one.

i don't see why this shouldn't work in your car. the only point i'd have to make is that is a 1997 car part going onto a 99 car... if the speedo comes away from the main cluster i'd change just the speedo if i were you

ask the seller for the part number and find out the part number on your car fom the manufacturers and you'll know if it fits for sure
