I'm not in the market for an additional car key but many are. If you are not prepared to go to the dealers and would rather sort it yourself buy getting the transponder and immo programmed elsewhere, you will also have to get the flip out blade cut..

I had cause to get some house keys cut today and asked if they did the VW Audi Seat and Skoda flip keys, they did.

They stock the blades and can cut them for £15

Is this good value?

there's a guy on ebay, I can find his details if I need to, who cuts your key (he supplies the blank) from a photograph of your existing key, no need to leave your home and he does it all for around £12 all in

and also has your address to post it to and also to nick your car.

clever offer.

Cynic!!!

Though probably true :(

£15 sounds pretty good to me.

Personally I'd get the garage to do it. That said I'm in the fortunate position of having just about enough money to be able to buy peace of mind for things like that.

£15 sounds about the going rate to me.
