limp mode when cold

3 times now its gone into limp from cold , switch off ignition at 60 mph , back on and bump the car and it works again without issue for the 20 miles to home - what gives ??? if its the veins surely they would stick for a while and not for 5 seconds ??? any ideas .

Get a fault code read,it might throw some sign to the problem.
