I know that people typically complain of a soggy rear passenger foot well, but my drivers side on is soggy (UK drivers side). I've had a quick look and cant see anywhere that the water is coming in, all the door seals seem fine. I had a quick feel under the battery and the rubber bung have been removed and I've never seen a significant amount of water in the area beneith the battery.
Is there some other common place for leaks??
Cheers

Mine was flooding in the same o/side rear footwell and the cause was a blocked Plenum chamber drain. You say this bung has been removed, but did you also check the one under the brake servo? I had already checked the sunroof drains with a trickling hosepipe before I found the problem.
Also while the scuttle is removed, check underneath at either end where leaves can gather preventing water from draining safely away from cable grommets on the drivers side and the ventilation air filter on the passenger side.

Ahh there are two bungs! :Blush2: I must check the other. Let me check it and get back to you.
Thanks!

Open the electronic/ECU black box in the plemum chamber and check it is dry inside and the lid is not cracked. Remove any debris, leaves and the like form behind the box then to a water check as there is a seal between the box and the bulkhead. Water can enter the car here and travel to the rear footwell via the channel the rear heating duct sits in. Regards Peter
