All went well and was very happy Batty......
1. Decided on spec
2. Priced up by 3 dealers
3. Priced up with tinternet brokers
4. Told the ******** what robbing b*st*rds they were and what they had to do.
5. Hey presto, one up the road came up with the goods.
6. Two weeks later wife ordered it from Stanstead dept lounge on the way to Portugal.
7. 13 weeks later exactly what was ordered turns up.

With my business I back everything up with written correspondents and expected nothing different when ordering a car.

Trust no one unless you see it in ink with your own eyes. And confo confo confo all the way.

Did all the above and got it all confirmed in writing. Even asked the question "is this order form from the same system that processes the order or has it been re-entered?". I was told it was. It wasn't. Turns out mine was mis-keyed. Apparently "the same system" can be interpreted to mean the same PC despite it running multiple applications.

Wow.. lots of advice on this board. Am seriously thinking of buying a car from the UK. Seems that pitch had a better experience buying than bratty. Looks like I'll have to be extra careful!
