Has anybody here heard of this? I saw it being demonstrated on one of those shopping channels.
It's a waterless wash that you spray it on directly to a dirty car and it disolves all the dirt then you simply wipe it off and the car is cleaned, sealed and protected.
They then sprayed spray paint on the bonnet and tar and let it dry. They tried to clean it off with normal shampoo and nothing happened, then they re-applied the Showroom Shine, let it work for a bit then wiped clean, removing all the spray paint and tar.

Yes i have used this product called Pro Shine and although a bit apprehensive at first about using it on a dirty car it did work and the results were quite impressive with a wet look finish, and no scratching of the paintwork. You have to shake the product vigoursly to mix the ingredients but apart from that spray all over the car apart from windscreen buff off and hey presto a clean car.

I also saw this on a shopping channel. I think they tested it on a car covered in tar and graffitti and it removed it all, with no effort or scratches. They also tested it on a nice expensive 911 so it must be good. Anyone know where you can get it from?

Try this link if it does not work go to Amazon site and type in ProShine in the search bar various waterless waxes available but I know ProShine works as I have used it . Good luck

I've used this product with great success. If you need a quick clean and shine it takes no time. I still use the wash, dry and wax method if there's time or nip to the lads in Sainsburys car park for a £5 hand wash if I've no time at all. Buy off the shopping channel as its easy, quick and secure.

I'm a long-time user of this stuff - last two cars to be honest!
It's a product from a company called Greased Lightning. The UK place that imports it has the same name, but am unsure if they are owned by the parent US company. Academic anyway.
The stuff is brilliant imho.
You can get away with not washing if the soiling is light, and I often do top-up cleans with no water at all. HOWEVER, what I find most effective is to give it a wash down when it's really dirty with water and a wash-n-wax, rinse it off, and THEN set to work with the Showroom Shine.
Once you've used it a few times, the wash becomes a doddle - 5 mins for an Avant. Rinse takes seconds, and then about 20 mins to do the whole car (and that's in detail I should add!) with the Showroom Shine.
I bought two more bottles last year from Ideal World (they seem to have some stupid offers, but register on the UK website of the retailer greasedlightning.co.uk and you can get an immediate 10% off and they often do bank holiday and weekend specials.....) anyway as you can always get it from them.
I would give it huge thumbs up.
Interestingly, I've also got some of the Greased Lightning bug shifter - which smells a bit rank but just dissolves the compressed flies on the paintwork/glasswork/chrome/grilles and makes cleaning a breeze. Also use their tyre/plastic trim stuff and have had v/good results.
I should take some pics and post them really :-)
Very satisfied though. Worth noting that if you didn't pick up on it, all the demo's the do on TV where they get enamel paint off your paintwork - it's been treated with showroom shine BEFORE they put the enamel paint on, so it's really removing the paint off the wax layer....but either way - I love it!
Cheers,
Dan.
