No Acceleration but engine keeps running

Hi need help with 130 TDI, When I floor the accelorator the engine goes into tick over, switch engine off then restart all is o.k. under normal driving untill I accelerate hard again. Any help would be apreciated.

It could be limp mode, so you will need to get fault codes read.
or
It could be the brake pedal sensor thinking the footbrake has been applied, which cuts the power (even if the brake lights are not on as they work from seperate contacts).
