A4 TDI problems

i am new to this site and was hoping to get some questions answered, please help if you can. Do all A4 TDI use the same gearbox, for example i have a 2.0 TDI 170 quattro will the gearbox be the same as a 3.0 TDI or a 2.7 TDI:confused:??.
can any one recomend a extended warranty, i have had a quote of £500 from warranty direct for luxury care, this is for 13 months cover.
has any one had problems with clutch, gearbox, fuel pump or heater matrix ??.

I'm afraid I cant answer your gearbox question.

Not sure how useful it is to you but I have just brought an a4 170 2.0 tdi from a main dealer with 50k on the clock and I drove it for 3k before taking it back and having a new clutch & flywheel fitted under warrantee because it was slipping.

This does seem to be a v low mileage for a new clutch - but to be fair I dont know what the last owner was like with the clutch.

+ I cant complain at audi in any way as they were super nice about it, tested it and fitted new parts within 24 hours!
