Just a quickie this time i hope...
Looking to change/improve my standard tape concert stereo in my '99 S3 and need to know what my options are???
Standard audi unit's volume control is playing up, which i know is a common problem, so that needs to go but can i.....
...directly replace head unit with newer audi cd units (also utilising the existing audi cd changer in the boot)?
...replace with apline cd head unit which i have kicking around (if so is there some way of connecting the existing audi cd changer once again?
...or do i need to start from scratch removing all standard audi parts ie. head unit/cd changer etc... and replace with new stuff?
problem is i'd like to put a small sub/amp in boot as don't have standard bose system already so can this be fitted to standard audi head units without to much messing about (even if it does mean sticking with audi tape as opposed to cd)???
