Anybody know who fits reverse sensors in Renfrewshire area, works out about £300+ for Audi dealer to fit them.............see you can buy genuine Audi sensors from Audi dealer on ebay.

Hindsight is a wonderfull thing...should have got them fitted from new.

I have rear sensor but now regret (A LOT!!!!) not getting both front and rear after thinking I could park and clipped a stone Flowerpot thing (German built so an IMMovable object!) and caused a 3 inch scar on the front bumper:zx11::zx11::zx11:. Toyed with the idea of letting my wife drive and blaming her ;).

If you are going for it IMO get FULL APS after all you are going to pay for the paint which will not cost any more for them little holes that they have to drill.

i work in a audi dealership and i can fit them no problems. i only fit the rear ones though as there is no genuine audi kits for the fronts. if you get the rear sensors genuine parts and painted i can fit them no problem as i am from that area ( well roughly)

Can anyone show some pics of the retrofit parking sensors, as I believe they are quite 'bulky looking? (Am I right in thinking that if factory fitted there are flush and around 15mm dia, where as if retrofitted, they stick out approx 4mm and a bout the size of a 10p piece?)
Much appreciated, before taking the plunge.

I couldn't get OEM parts so purchased £40 kit from tebay. They stick out a few mm but relatively easy to fit and work a treat.
Painstakingly marked out the holes in the bumpber before drilling, but only took a few hours of drilling and wiring and, at the end of the day, look reasonably okay.
You'll probably need to buy a relay as, when connected to your reverse lights, the system thinks that your reverse light bulb is out and you'll get the warning light on your dashboard.
A4Audi in Clydebank may be able to help should you not do it yourself - nice bunch of guys and recently helped me with a remap to my 1.8t.
