Hey all

I have coins stuck in behind my ashtray  and cant get them out without taking the thing out... which means taking the rns-e and air con unit out.

Question is, if i unplug the rns-e, will it ask me for codes etc?

Cheers

no, i don't think it will forget. Had the radio in and out my golf with no issues. One thing though, there may not be enough play on the loom to the quadlock at the back. There isn't on my B7, i found this out yeaterday when the audi tech couldn't get it out. You may have to drip the glove box to aid access. I will have to do this so i'll be doing a how to guide. Won't be this weekend though.

RNS-E (and all the Audi radios) remember what car they were in. Only need codes when they go in to a different car...
