I am trying to work out how you get the correct Engine Oil level measurement?

In the manual it says to measure it on a warm engine after it has been 2 minutes?

If you follow the book it say select Oil Measurement from the CAR menu, switch off engine wait 2 minutes and read off the display? But as soon as I turn off the engine the Oil monitoring screen goes greyed out lol.

If you try to re-measure it, its say's, operation not posible without ignition on? So my question is how do you turn on the ignition without starting the engine?

Silly question I know, but surely you can't measure oil level with the engine running? Just a thought?

On mine, if you hit the key once, but don't have the clutch in then the ignition comes on but it doesn't start...........

It's in the manual :

"If you press in the key without pressing the clutch/brake pedal, the ignition will be switched on/off. The steering lock is released when the ignition is switched on. Diesel engines continue to be automatically preheated."
