2.0 TDI S LINE Query

Hi All,
Have bought the above and am very happy with my purchase.
One thing I am shocked by is the fact that it appears to not have a computer stating the MPG etc etc.
It looks as though this wasn't put on as optional extra???
Suprising as it has bluetooth car kit/BOSE/ Ipod connection etc.

Question is can the computer be added on? One of my main reasons for purchasing was the economy and I would quite like to see what mpg etc i am getting.

Are you sure it's not turned off, check for the button under the wiper stalk.
DIS can be retro-fitted easily.

Thanks for the replies. Have had a good read through all the other posts.

Have to admit I dont fancy doing it myself so will be asking a few of the local VAG Specialists for a price.

I ony want the DIS so am guessing the stalk for 65 quid is all I need then the labour. Anyone got a rough guesstimate??

Once the stalk is fitted it's just a coding change.
Look for a member in the vagcom section near to you.
