Hi all,
I had a few minutes to spare last night, so I took the opportunity of looking at the sticky label in the spare wheel well and noting all the car's option codes listed on there.
I then went to http://igorweb.org/equidec/Default.aspx to decode them, and they came back as follows:
E4J = "S-line"
7MG = Emission standard EU5
4UF = Drivers and front passenger air bag with front passenger air bag deactivation
6XD = Exterior mirrors: electrically adjustable/heated
5SJ = Left exterior mirror: convex

J0Z = Battery 520 A (110 Ah)
1LG = Disc brakes, front

F0A = No special purpose vehicle, standard equipment
8GV = Alternator 180 A
0G1 = Gearshift lever
0YG = Weight range 7 installation control only, no requirement forecast
0JG = Weight category front axle weight range 7
TH3 = 4-cylinder diesel engine 2.0 L unit 03L.B
3NZ = Rear seat bench unsplit, backrest split folding
8BP = Bi-functional headlight with gas discharge lamp
U1B = Instrument insert with mph speedometer, clock, tachometer and trip odometer

9Q4 = Multi-function display/on-board computer with check control
8Z5 = Not hot country
D93 = 4-cyl. turbo dies. eng. 2.0 l/125 kW 4V TDI common rail Base engine is TG3/TH3/TL4/TM4/TP4/TU3
7T6 = Navigation system (MID)
C8K = Alloy wheels 8.5J x 19
7K0 = Without tire pressure warning light
4X3 = Side air bag front with curtain air bag
2K7 = Reinforced bumpers
3L3 = Manual height adjustment for front seats
4KC = Side and rear windows in heat-insulating glass
3Y0 = Without roll-up sun screen
4K2 = Radio remote controlled central locking "SZV"
5D7 = Carrier frequency 868 MHz without panic button
1SA = Without additional engine guard
N1H = Leather seat covering
Q1D = Sports front seats
4GP = Windshield in heat-insulating glass with sunshield and viewing window for vehicle identification number
Although this looks comprehensive, it's not a complete list. The car also came with
Phone Prep Low
Heated Front/Outer Rear Seats
80L Fuel Tank
Self Opening Bootlid
Audi Music Interface
Storage Pack
Auto Dimming Mirror
They were factory-fit options (nothing has been retrofitted to the car), so I'm puzzled why they are not included in the option codes. :confused:
Has anyone else checked their option codes against the car's spec to see how accurate it is?
MF.
