Looking for a live feed.

Hi chaps,

I'm going to be fitting some daylight running lights to my partners 2004 A3 over the weekend & I'm looking for a live feed to run them when the ignition is on. Somewhere near to the headlights is prefered but I could run the cables back to the ignition switch if needed.

Any advice?

If the vehicle is a 2004 mod you can change the long coding of the central electronics unit for Daytime Running Lights (Scandinavia) in Byte 00 Bit 3

Thanks for that but I need to find a live feed to rig up the additional daylight running lights I've fitted. I hope there will be one in the fuse box next to the battery.

Fitting the additional lights may cause a problem with the canbus sleep modus,depending on how they are wired up.

No probs. I found a live in the fuse box so all is good. :D
