New member today, just about to buy a 1994 'L' Audi Coupe 2.6e tomorrow and thought I would join as a mate said you lot knew a lot about Audi!

Any things I should look out for? Bit of an impulse buy from ebay, its got full history loads of reciepts and full mot. I have always wanted one since I was a kid and this looked the cleanest.

I know the usual things to look out for, but any advice on things that may need looking at on the coupe?

Cheers mate, Picked it up yesterday and I am well impressed with it.

FSH, receipts for everything, full heated leather seats and everything in all round excellent condition, also bought his spare 5 alloys with virtually new tyres for £100 so got lots of spares!

Just hit 91,000 miles on the way home, its driving better than any newish car I have had.

One of the bulbs has gone out on the centre gauge and one of the headlight washers is missing, but all can be repaired.

Seen a few 2.6 around on autotrader, ebay and pistonheads all with more miles and a bit tatty for a lot more than I paid, so im made up.

Im looking to get it a service and either a standard tune up or get it chipped/rolling road set up, does anyone know of a good reliable place in the north west?
