In response to the What Grinds Your Gears Thread and inspired by my fiancee, what puts a great big stupid grin on your face?

I came home to find Elise cooking Christmas Dinner for two tonight...

... hells yeah!

Listening to my little lad tell me a story that he is making up as he goes!

From a motoring point of view, hitting 9500 revs in the car in 2nd gear and hearing the engine beep to change gear!

Can’t do that at the moment, my back hurts too much. I have next week off and would have loved to trundle along on my bike but I can’t see it happening.

Seeing boy racers been pulled over or even better when we are out in boyfriends black focus, them thinking that we are the police!

I cant get the same effect from a 10 year old polo!

When my dog actually does something I have asked her to do, such as retrieve her ball without running off with it and dropping it in a pool of mud!

It's immensely satisfying to think that 15 months of training are paying off and she does what she's actually trained to do!

1. The look on a dog's face as it sticks it head out a moving car's window.

2. Vinnie Jones trying to claim he's an actor.

Doing 'J' turns for the first time in my mates home built Mini auto tester, blindingly good fun, grinning from ear to ear like a complete nutcase. :D:D:D:D

Seeing my 16 year old sons face when he bought his first car. Priceless. :D

I find it amusing when a spider has made a web between the wing miror and the body of my car. Especially when driving at 70mph with the spider still clinging on to its web in hurricane force winds! Makes me chuckle.

Ooo, by the way, I went to sharm in July. Abso-bloody-lutely fantastic!
We stayed at the Holdiday Village. Yes it was full of kids, but the swim up rooms were nice and private with no kids :D

Snorkelling is amazing with 30ft+ visability, and scuba diving is even better!
Want to go back... NOW!

Today, i saw a broken down TVR on a roundabout and i sat there thinking 'he brought the wrong car' to add insult to injury people in what can only be described as Scrap! Ford Escorts went round him.

The chap I heard about today who runs a company selling environmentally friendly electrical systems for homes (sea side windmills and the like) and has just treated himself to a £98K R8, irony rules! Love it, sort of thing that gives me a warm glow inside…
