front grill removal

Hi there does anyone know how to remove front chrome grill on a passat B6 55 plate please,,,,

The whole front piece?

It's not that hard (I've mostly done it once) - there are loads of Torx style screws to undo. I can't remember exactly, but there are screws at the top to undo first and then, to be honest, I just undid screws that seems to hold it in place.

You shouldn't need to remove the bumper though and it does just lift out.

I am, however, saying this from memory as I've not had a Passat for 5 months :(
