Hi All,
I have an audi a3 1.8t quattro 8L and wondered how i should lower my car. I have 2 options in mind:
Ap Coilovers:
Front 30-90mm
Rear 25-75mm
FK Suspention kit:
Front 55mm
Rear 40mm
Now you may be asking whats the problem? Well to be honest im not sure on what size wheels to get to go with the lowering 18" seems to be the popular choice but what drop would be suitable with them? is there a point in getting coilvers with 18" as surely you cant drop it beyond 40mm anyway?
If i was to get 17's then i would have to get coilovers i assume, as the drop would need to be massive to fill the gap.
I can save about £200 on buying a suspension kit which will leave me enough money to buy 18's.
Or do i buy the 17's which are 150-200 cheaper than 18's and spend the extra on the coilovers?
What are your opinions all :)
