Nice car.... wheels look small, are they 18/19/20?
they look like 18s!

kavithakrar, Many thanks for your comments. The wheels are the standard 18" wheels that come with the S4.
That looks great. Is that Misamo Red (or however its spelt)
I saw a S4 with "SuperCharged" under the S4 Badge on the boot, do you think that was an after market stick on?
I like those wheels a lot, they were the ones in the early press release photos. How long did you have to wait?

mkc, Thanks for your comments. The colour is called Brilliant Red. I think the 'supercharged' badge must have been an after-market stick-on as I never saw it as an option when I was buying. I ordered the car in mid-June and it arrived at the dealers in mid-August. However, although I purchased a personal reg for the car, I still waited to take delivery on 1 September as that will help with its value when I come to sell/part-exchange it.

Nice ! I had a Brilliant Red S5 for 5 years so we fancied a change. It's a nice colour.
Have you worked out what you're going to tell people when they say "V6T - is it turbo charged?" followed by "what does the T stand for?"
So far the best suggestion i've seen is Thupercharged :D

pitch3110, thanks for your comments. I'm still being very careful during the running-in period, but there is certainly plenty of power under the right foot. I can't wait to use the full 328bhp!
When I knew I was handing my first S4 back (i.e. rejecting it), I had a proper play and it really is extremely fast.
I can;t wait to get the new one - as soon as I get it, I'll be putting around 5-600 miles as I drive around the UK a bit and then back home to Holland so that should run it in nicely :)

Its nice to have a proper LOUD peddle instead of an economical one on my present hack and ordered one.
Wifeys ED30 GTI with 230 never ceases to make me smile........if only I could smuggle a Bluefin on it.
Enjoy

John, That's a very nice fully-loaded S4 you are getting!

I got carried away with the options list. Luckily for my savings account and the sanity of my bank manager, my wife stole my pen before I could check any other boxes.....

There were still some unchecked boxes??

have you seen the expensive, ugly damage you can do with free reign and the Audi-exclusive stuff?
:biglaugh:
PS I keep forgetting to say - I love the S4 in red, yours looks awesome- really sets off the chrome well I feel. Red or the Sprint Blue were on my short-list. In the end I decided to go for pure stealth :)

Thanks - and I seem to remember I tried to keep away from that end of the brochure...

which gearbox do you have and have you tried launch control yet?

I have the manual gearbox (by choice). IF I have launch control (and I don't know if I have!), I have no intention of using it as it won't do the clutch or transmission any good.
