Hi, I have been visiting the forums pretty often now!
Well this is an invitation from me for you people to come and join Ventrilo!
What ventrilo is it allows us to communicate to friends and family across the world via voice. So we can basically talk to them for free of charge, It just us who have to pay for the Ventrilo server. Which the one i admin, is limited to 25 users at the moment. This limit only allows 25 users (MAX) to be online at one time. I am willing to make a Channel(s) for VWAudi forum! I will also give admin previleges to... hhhmm, the main owners/users of this site.
What you are needed to do is...
Download Ventrilo for Free
http://www.ventrilo.com/download.php (Select Appropriate Version to download)
Once downloaded and installed. Create a new Username.. Lets say
Joe Bloggs then you click OK
Then click on the Server Arrow pointing right and a new window'll open.
You will create a new one Name it [U] or VWAudi (This name doesn't actually matter)
then
For the host name you will put (COPY AND PASTE)
thoron.typefrag.com
and the Port numbr (COPY AND PASTE)
11553
Now click ok and Connect to the server, Inside you will see A list of channels you can go to, Some will have passwords some not. I am known as
¿?¿?¿?¿? (GUEST)
I have actually put guest there because i like it lol.
But please let me know your views about voice communication to other forum users etc. I think it will be great and for the purpose of support and just making friends.:beerchug:
