Have a look at what they charged you for oil, talk about highway robbery.

Usually the brake fluid is only changed in the 60 000km service (40 000miles?), but the actual changing interval is 2 years regardless of mileage.
I find it rather strange that Audi use the LongLife system and even the oil is changed every 2 years if the car isn't driven enough for the service mileage to be reached.
I assume your car is something like a 2007? I would recommend you change the oil every year regardless of the mileage you do since oil deteriorates over time even if the engine is not used.
Myself, I change the oil every 15 000km but have the service reminder set for LongLife. With my annual mileage I get the LL service once a year at around 30 000km intervals and an oil change twice a year at half the LL interval.
I have seen too many sludged-up 1.8Ts to have lost my faith in the LL oil change interval and I definitely don't want to mess-up my turbo by trying to save a few tenners on oil every year.

If you change the oil between long life service will this not affect the time to go for service as according to the manual it uses sensors in the engine to determine the interval. Incidently I have a 2.0TFSI that i bought in january the last LL sevice was at 36000m it is now on 59000 and showing 6000m to go! should i have it serviced now or wait for it to tell me.

i thought the longest between services on LL was 2yrs or 20K miles !!
Looks like someone didn't stamp the book...

windyj, as far as I know the LL program is mostly based on the number of cold starts and the kind of driving the car is used for, ie. the interval is longer if you only do long trips on the high way than if you only drive for short distances in the city.
I do remember reading somewhere the is a sensor for the engine oil quality as well, but I can't confirm this.

2.0T also- My last service was at 36k and is due another at 53k.
29000 miles seems a long time to wait between services, even for longlife.

£330 sounds expensive. When my 2.0 TDI was due for its 1st service (18000 miles/2yrs) I was quoted £235 by my local Audi dealer. The VW dealer quoted £250, while the Seat and Skoda dealers quoted £130-140. Took it to the Skoda dealer. £100 saved and better customer service.
