Hi All
Has VW made a Dogs dinner of the current Passat line up ?, On the new R-Line To me the body kit looks Naff, a car that tries to replace the old SE & Sport models, probably the two best selling models. The SEL is dropped with the Highline ( does'nt even provide Dual climate essential if you have a cold blooded Missus like me! ) taking the top models place. ( Yes I know the R36 is the ultimate model but how many of those are sold in the real world that aint ex demonstrators). Its the current half hearted attempt at the sales litrature that dissapoints & confuses most. In the current price list that i picked up from the local dealership only last week has no mention of a new line up, The brochure its self has old pictures of cars in discontinued colours with wheels instrument binacle,s & steering wheels etc photoshopped in to resemble the updated vehicles.
A very poor effort from a company that takes pride in its quality.
