Water leaking in

I have a Mark 3 Golf - very sound apart from water getting in on the driver's side when it rains hard and ponding in the front and rear footwells. Any advice re likely entry point welcome as I can't find it. Thanks ged rees

Just a quick thought: does the car have a sun roof?
