My s3 is due a service soon and im not sure what to do. Bristol Audi have quoted me a whopping £565 for a long life service, clock currently on 106500. Another Audi speciallist quoted £275 but at the moment the service book is 100% main dealer and dont want to lower the sale price of the car by breaking this. What is the difference between Audi main dealer and an Audi specialist and should i pay the higher price? Thanks people.

Going to a recognised indi will not harm the re-sale value and often they do more for the money. Don’t keep it on Longlife though, it is not good for the engine. Still use Longlife 3 oil if you like (or Platinum) but go for annual intervals with a big service every two years and an annual oil/filter change.
