Hi,
A freidn has a A3 (im assuming <03 given the condition) that has had it's battry disconnected while they were away for a bit(a month or so - not 100% why but never mnid).

Its not been reconnected however when they have tryed to start the car it trys to fire but doesnt, with symbol of a car with a key in it so im assuming the imobiliser has kicked in.

At a guess the key has become out of sync with the car even though the rcl still works..

How do you get it resynced?

Thanks
Dan

You need to have the key recoded unfortunately. Where are you based? I could do this for you if you are relatively close by.

The car is in stoke on trent.
Is it a case of a proper recode or is it possable to do the 'working key' recode? as they might have a 2nd key somewhere .

cheers
dan

It needs properly recoding unfortunately. I am in Mansfield and would be happy to travel to you/them.

If you could give me a call, or get your friend to, then I could discuss it with you/them.

My mobile number is on the website, www.sharkperformance.co.uk

Thanks
