A3 wont start following battery change?

Hi, a friend of mine has just put a new battery on his A3 1.8T Auto (2002).

Now the car wont start? All the lights come on but it will not turn over. Is there something that needs resetting? :confused:

hiya mate, check fuses first, then see if you have a spark at plugs.. then have a diagnostic check if it's elusive...:beerchug:

strange. when he reconnected the battery he didnt forget to reconnect the starter motor cable did he? if there is power but it wont turn over then its starter motor related.
