hi all,

quick question about the standard dump valve, my old ones knackard so i ordered a forge one which will be with me next week sometime.

Now my mate had his old one still, so we replaced my one with his, now we didnt have any clamps (clips) so we cable tied the two pipes to it, and its seems tight and on full boost there aint bin any problems so far.

so will it be ok for the time being till get my new one in a week?

p.s its standard 150bhp model and it runs so much better now without the dogey valve.

cheers

It should be ok for a short term solution.

I think that standard boost is about 9 PSI.

yeah its gonna be on till next saturday at the latest.

if it was to pop of, would it cause any major damages or will it just be a huge boost leak lol?

I had a problem when one of my pipes ripped of the N75 valve and the turbo tried to boost too high.

The ECU kicked to protect the turbo and reduced power.

There was no damage done. But I couldn't be sure that it is completely safe to have a disconnected pipe(s).
