View Full Version : Question Loss of power when warm A3 98 1.6

After about 20 mins when the engine is upto temp I experience a temporary loss of power, then when I change up or down a get high revs. Temp guage is OK and no other symptoms. Is booked in for VAG diagonostics at an independent tomorrow. Appreciate if anyone recognizes this as Im in the dark.

Turned out to be crankshaft sensor. £60 plus labour. Fingers crossed
