Hi,
Does anyone know what this warning means?
Does it mean there is something wrong with the oil, or the oil sensor is faulty
Car has oil, and is due a service.
Cheers

I got this today, check connection to sump level sender and all way fine. Oil level OK. Warning didn't reappear on way home. Does it mean inconsistent readings from sender of no readings from sender or that the oil is low? Or is it the pressure sender, not a very good warning really!

Two oil warning lights. 1. oil pressure. 2.. Oil level. If the pressure one triggers you normally get a "stop engine" message as well. Oil level light often plays up. Open and shut the bonnet to reset. (I know it sounds daft but it's true). If it refuses to go away you need to check further.

Thanks for the reply. I'm aware that there is both an oil level and oil pressure lamp. Neither oil warning lights are on. The warning is in the Text Window (MFD), saying "Oil Sender Garage", there was no associated warning light, pressure nor level. It doesn't state specifically which Oil sensor it is refering too.
Thanks again! Be good to hear from someone who's had this sporadic warning and solved it!

I had mine in to 2 Dealers for this issue.
First dealer replaced the sensor and within 3 months it came back. (the bonet trick worked for about a day)
Second dealer actually found the fault to be a Multiplug in the wiring loom> they said its common
