Hi Guys,
Need some help/info please. The one-touch function on the drivers window stopped working, reset the function using the owner's manual but still no good. Just replaced the window switch and still not working, even tried resetting it again. Is there a relay at fault ? or the motor ? or what ? other than this the window works ok.:aargh4:

if it doesnt reset by window up 5 secs
window down 5 secs
window up 5 secs
then check the motor

My cable that pulls the window up and down has snaped, can hear the motor working but just will not open or close..

How do you go about resetting the windows? I disconnected the battery on my 1.8T A4 B5 to do some work, and when I reconnected, all windows work but all the one-touch features have stopped working!

This is from the owner's manual " lift and hold the window switch until the window has gone up as far as it will go. Release the switch and then lift it again for one second. It will now be possible to use the one-touch function again." Hope that helps you.
