Alternative tomtom mount

I wanted to get a new mount for my tomtom and didnt want it on the windscreen for security reasons, and I wasnt keen on the heater vent mounts either. I eventually came up with this....

I've done much the same thing with the phone cradle on my Mk V Golf and a round plastic disc I bought at John Lewis. Cost about £2 and does the trick. Much better than the windscreen sucker.

I used an Arkon "bean bag" mount from Handtec. IMO, better vision in your eye line, rather than having to look down. Also, the mount can be put in the glove box out of sight when parked. see: http://www.handtec.co.uk/product.php/1368/arkon-friction-dash-mount
