I have an Audi A3 which is less than 4 years old (but out of warranty) with 41000 miles. I've had for 3 yrs and regulalry serviced. ESP warning light is permanently on and I had local Audi dealer run a diagnostic check. They tell me fault lies with ABS Control unit and pump which needs to be replaced at a cost of approx £1500!! Has anyone encountered similar problems?
I can't believe this unit should need replaced on a car of this age.
Thanks

Yep, happened to me too just last week, 3 year old Golf fsi, 11,000 on the clock. They said that it would have cost £1400 but again, fortunately, the car was under warranty.
As above I was suprised that a unit so expensive could go on a car with so few miles !!
