Well, that orange coil light persisted on flashing at me! :(

Even though my brake lights were still working, so i ignored it, kept checking them regularlym went to Cornwall for long weekend, they were still working.

Then one day - NOTHING! No brake lights, nada!

So another trip to the garage and £41 later, new brake light switch, brake lights now functioning ;)

Still not quite saved the £600 for the clutch replacement but am not far off, but as i have tax in August and MOT in September think it will have to wait until after MOT.... :aargh4:

VW bora 1999 rev counter dipping. This was at stand still, engine warm. Also engine looses power whilst going along in all gears dips and starts like Kangaroo juice but without hitting the gas or clutch.
No Carb unit. car doesn't splutter or stall, just dips and rises? The sound is the engine revving and dipping, haven't a clue why it sounds like a heartbeat on here lol,

could you help please....
many thanks

Lis it sounds like the car is eating into your clutch fund. Someone needs to tell the car it is cutting it's nose to spite it's face :(
