loving this forum ....very useful
well heres my problem hope some one can shed some light on it ..
(i put a post up the other day with more details)
my golf 1.9 tdi will not start ..turns over but does not catch.ive come to the conclusion it is the immobiliser..as in key mismatch some how ??anyway the car was running sweet parked up for 1 hr then tried to start it it just turns over ..i know the later golf would run for a couple secs then die if there was a key mismatch,but mine will not even run! (by the way the timing belt is fine)
is there any indication on the dash to tell me of the fault?
if i leave the ignition the glow plug light flashes ,is this sugnificant?
any suggestions would be appreciated
