Hi, got an '09 A4 S-Line Exec. with bluetooth phone prep (low). DOes anyone know how I get my phone book etc. to display on the screens? I have a Nokia N95 8 GB.

Cheers

Seems to be mixed opinions over whether this phone works with the MMI

Someone in this thread suggests installing the 810 push application on the Nokia phone; another good alternative is to use another phone to import the phonebook into the MMI and not use the phonebook on the phone itself - that's okay if you don't make lots of regular updates.

Thanks for that; I have updated my N95 to the newest firmwars etc., and installed the 810 contacts dowloader, but still no success! Not sure if I am doing anything wrong, (I am following the instructions on the Nokia webstie you gave me the link for). Do you have any other ideas? Does anyone else have any ideas?

Cheers for your help

Sorry; I don't have a N95 but just did a bit of googling around. I was lucky, a firmware update on my older car meant phonebook functionality started working on my blackberry curve.

Does that mean the phone book option, and the import options both still don't function?

Prior to having the blackberry phone book working, I used a another phone to import my contacts into the cars own memory and then whenever I had a new unrecognised number turn up in the car screen I just added it - obviously not as nice as having the sync working properly.

Sorry couldn't be more help.

Hey, thanks. I've just done some Googling myself and another Nokia forum pointed me to the "Download" icon that appears after you install the contact downloader. I didn't see if first time around as it was buried away in my list of applications, but I've just found it. I'll re-try and let you know how I get on!
