My A4 02 plate died this morning. Two weeks ago it was in the garage for needle lift sensor and new MAF. Got in it this morning and it will only run on tickover. Totally dies as soon as put under load and throws tonnes of blue diesel smelling smoke out. Plugged it in and apparently there is a MAP sensor fault!! Ended up taking it to a local garage, they advise nothing wrong with Turbo and have ordered new crankcase breather pipe, fingers crossed this works, my wallet can't bear the thought of my suspicions that its the fuel pump!! Has anyone else had the same problem?? I'm beginning to wish i'd bought another BMW - had 6 to date and never had problems like this!!!
