driving home last night in my A4 cab 3.0 sport (Manual box) I had a yellow warning symbol pop up, it was a circle with a cross through it (kinda like a cross hair) with a small rectangle on top of it, any ideas?
also, after driving for a couple of hours, the average mileage display changes and flashes up '02:00hrs' until I stop, any idea what this is?
Many thanks in advance

Don't recall the 1st one, but the 2:00 is the rest warning from the DIS driving time monitor. Push the up/down on the wiper stalk end to clear it.
Cheers,
Dan.

The first one is a bulb warning to advise you of a failed bulb.

The 2 hour thing is to recommend you taking a break I think, but it doesnt take in to account you starting and stopping the car, as it only resets itself after the car being stationary for a further 2 hours.

Yeah it is for that, just press one side of the rocker switch on the end of the wiper stalk to cancel it.

Thanks people, Sharky the first one isnt on anymore, so possibly a loose connection? I googled it and came up with someone else asking it and said a possible brake fault, but you're sure its just a bulb?
Cant find my bloody manual at the mo!! :zx11:
Thanks again
