vw passat 2001 criuse control

hi all, i have recentley bought a 2001 passat, it has not got cruise control, last year i fitted cruise c on my audi i was wondering is it the same to fit to a passat or is there a lot more involved, your feedback would be muched appreciated on this topic:beerchug:

if its a diesel its a straightforward job

hi yes its a 1.9 tdi 130bhp, will i have to plug vag-com in to activate?:beerchug:
