Car just back from a week with the Milltek technicians and their new exhaust developed and fitted. Sound transformation is amazing and looks the part. Will be back on the phone on Monday as it drones at low revs, which makes highway driving painful when you are driving between 60 and 80 mph. Low down and top end sounds awesome though!
Not sure if the tails are too big or not so grateful fo some opinions!

i think it looks good, although i prefer the amount of chrome you can see from behind on the original exhaust.
I would love to hear it, any chance of a you tube upload?
i think the setup looks better with one pipe either side, i assume this is to make the same system compatible with the avant.
and lastly; did milltek hint at what the full retail price+fitting would be?

V.nice, although I was parked next to a 2.0T and it had pipe either side, maybe I am not up to speed. I must admit I saw the first pic and though v. nice shame you maybe lost a bit of the chrome.
As per the previous comment as I would love a pair of pipes like that!

If you want more chrome then you could reduce the diameter so you see more. Also they could also be made to come out a bit more from the valance....however if they're like the Milltek I had on my S4 (or my TT) then the tips will be well proud once the cars up to temperature anyway.

The amount of chrome showing is fine, the only thing I am tempted to do is to get some smaller tips, sometimes I look and think they look fine, and othertimes I think they are too big! I may just some and compare!!
These are 4.25" whereas the US AWE ones are 3.5". Think I may see if I can get some that size.

There is a post right in front of the car! So I drive up using the parking sensors and get probably within a few cm's each time :biglaugh:

Car has been back to Milltek this week to work on the drone, although I must admit that after about 1000 miles this has lessened, although still there motorway driving.
They have also been developing the downpipe and sports cat.
Should be able to report back tomorrow with (hopefully) some positive news!
