A4 cab roof problems?

:(:(Hi I've just bought a 2002 A4 3.0 sport cab, roof worked when I went to look at it however this afternoon when I tried to put it away it only went so far and stopped and I had to use the key to close it. Now it wont open without using the key, feels like the hatch release is sticking, please has anyone got any ideas, only had the car 7 hours!!

Take it back and have the previous owner sort out the issue!

EDIT: Also, I recall a similar thread on here posted during last week which may be helpful :)

Sorted for now i hope, reset it manually and it works fine, fingers crossed.
