Just a quick post to say I decided to put ZE912's on the A4 instead of the FK452's on the grounds of grip/noise.
Had all 4 done today - what a result. I can't believe how quiet they are compared to the Dunlop SP9090's that were on there and they are much grippier (and no my fronts weren't worn out - it was the rears that were getting a little low - but since you can't get the 9090's anymore I wanted to change all 4).
Very impressive - and at £80 a corner fitted they compare very favourably with the £115 which was the cheapest I could get a Dunlop for.
Also got a 4 wheel laser alignment done which took a while....very interesting to watch and to see why the main dealer didn't want to offer to sort out the problem they highlighted.......as it was a relarively easy job if you have the right tools.....
And to confirm there are a full set of adjustments on the rear of the 2wd A4's - but only toe-in on the fronts......no matter what a dealer/tyre place may tell you.....it's not too fiddly to do either.
Well happy.
Big thumbs up for the Falkens and the boys at Cambridge Performance Tyres if you are in the area!
Cheers,
dan.
