Air-con

With the recent heat wave I have been using the air-con in my B6 a lot. Now my question is: how do I know if it needs a re-charge? It's a 2004 model and as far as I know hasn't ever been done. It's cold when on low, but not as cold as I think it could be. Any help gratefully received!

Air con should be serviced every couple years.
Contact a specialist.
They should suck the gas out, hold the system in vacuum to check for leaks, add some lube oil then re-gass with the correct amount of gas.
