How the *^%*^% do you get it off a 2006 1.4 Cordoba ! ! ! please !

I found out - it pulls off - held by 4 rubber grommets in the airbox.

It's a sport vervsion and doesn't have standard spark plugs.

I have a qn for you in this regard. Hope u can help me from your experience with ur air-filter replacement mentioned here.

I can’t get the top black engine cover off from the engine bay to fit a new air-filter on my 2003 SEAT CORDOBA 1.4 16V Petrol.
I tried undoing around 8 screws from the underneath of the compartment, but I couldn’t get the cover off.
Can you please guide me on how to get this black top cover off to replace the air-filter?
